“Djezzy” is not for sale: CEO declares

The Egyptian telephone operator Orascom Telecom, Djezzy CEO, has yesterday ruled out the declarations made by “CEVITAL” group General Manager, Isaad Rabrab concerning alleged negotiations to take over the telephone company.

• Djezzy has unleashed a communiqué in which it expressed its astonishment to the declarations made by Isaad Rebrab concerning the taking over of this company, putting the focus on the point that gives the priority to “CEVITAL” to buy Djezzy.
• Djezzy has thus refuted any form of negotiations with CEVITAL launching bluntly that the company is not for sale “ There wasn’t any contact with the group concerning this matter.. Moreover, M Rebrab has no right over Djezzy since he is just a small share holder among other Algerian businessmen”, it said
